Theatre of Making Pilot Programme

Sept - Dec 2006

The Theatre of Making is an ambitious touring programme of events, that celebrates and promotes high quality crafts and encourages people of all ages and abilities to take part in the art of making.

It is our ambition to run up to six Theatre of Making events a year throughout the south east region, building on some of our successes in the past, 'Hot Metal at Milestones' and creating some completely new events, for example 'Dining in Style' and a eco-craft event 'Flotsam & Jetsam'.

You can read more about our pilot events below: Celebrate Ceramics in Alton (sept 06), Hot Metal at Milestones (Oct 06), and 12 Days of Christmas in Festival Place (nov/Dec 06).

Here you can see the results! Everyone who attended made one mural by layering photographs onto a board in an abstract and random way. The other mural was produced by projecting slides onto the wall.
